BRAILLE CHALLENGE
The Nebraska Regional Braille Challenge is a program of the Braille Institute of America. It is held annually on the NCECBVI campus in Nebraska City. Students demonstrate their braille skills by competing in a variety of contests throughout the day including reading charts and graphs, spelling, answering reading comprehension questions, and more. Students participate in an opening ceremony in the morning and an awards ceremony at the end of the day. While students take part in the competition, parents participate in an all-day workshop on campus. This school year the event will be held on Thursday, February 9, 2023.
Registrations are due by December 15.
