As a follow-up to last year’s National Family Conference, NCECBVI will host the opportunity for parents to meet board members from the National Association for Parents of Children with Visual Impairments (NAPVI) and explore the idea of forming a statewide chapter in Nebraska. Teachers of the visually impaired, UNL VI endorsement student teachers, and NCECBVI support staff will develop educational and recreational activities while the parents are in the meetings. This weekend will include a Parents Night Out!

Space Camp is Back!
June 22-25, 2008

Qualified applicants who meet the challenge of Space Camp
will be considered for a possible mission to the U.S. Space
and Rocket Center in Huntsville, Alabama in September, 2008
which will be sponsored by NCECBVI.
(If students are registered for WAGES,
they may be released to attend Space Camp.)

Sizzlin’ Summer Camp
June 27- July 2, 2008

This camp will be filled with lots of fun activities,
infused with skill instruction, and will offer students the
opportunity to gain new experiences!
Instruction will be provided by NCECBVI teachers
and UNL VI endorsement student teachers.
