IntelliBraille is one of the few educational software programs for blind students. This program is used in conjunction with IntelliTools Classroom Suite, Overlay Maker 3, and IntelliKeys USB keyboard, it contains over 115 activities accessible to Braille and low-vision students. The 16 lessons on the Literary Braille Code begin with the alphabet and proceed through all contractions and includes five lessons on the Dolch Words. This workshop is designed to meet the needs of teachers or paraprofessionals who have experience using IntelliTools’ Classroom Suite and Overlay Maker software and would like to expand that knowledge to include Braille students. Participants will learn to use features, materials and activities included with IntelliBraille.
IntelliBraille course materials make teaching Braille easier:
v Braille Activities are provided in print and Simulated Braille Font for the Dolch Words and Literary Braille Code Activities.
