“R and R” for Administrators Educational Programs for Students Who Are Blind or Visually Impaired Presenter: Mary Nelle McLennan, MA, American Printing House for the Blind, will focus on the realities of students who are visually impaired and will identify resources for effectively meeting the needs of those students. Topics will include: the essential role of assessment, expanded core curriculum, orientation and mobility, literacy learning, accessible educational materials, visual efficiency and low vision, access technology, psychosocial aspects of blindness, career education and transition.
