Reading, sorting, manipulating and disseminating information in Windows
couldn't be any easier for a blind or visually impaired user than with outSPOKEN's
powerful and intuitive user interface. outSPOKEN Ensemble gracefully speaks
and shows on a braille display the content of cells when navigating and
selecting in Microsoft Excel spreadsheets. Message boxes, warning dialogs
and tooltip text are automatically spoken system wide. Web pages that include
frames can be navigated with outSPOKEN's intuitive command set. outSPOKEN
Ensemble also reads the content of dialogs and document windows with natural
pauses and voice inflections, making information intelligible and pleasurable
to the user. The outSPOKEN user interface is available in English, French,

outSPOKEN Ensemble 3.0 gives you the most comprehensive and responsive
braille output available. outSPOKEN Ensemble users can even work effectively
in braille without needing speech output.
outSPOKEN Ensemble runs in Windows 98 and 95, and is compatible with most
braille displays and speech synthesizers. outSPOKEN's Preferences dialog
lets you choose how the braille should appear: Grade two braille, six- or
eight-dot braille, word-wrap, layout, speech and braille coupling, text
attribute indicators, status cell usage, braille language tables, and much,
much more.
Included on the outSPOKEN Ensemble 3.0 software CD-ROM is the MS-SAPI
compatible Lernout & Hauspie speech synthesizer. This synthesizer can
speak UK and USA English, German, French, Italian, Japanese, Dutch and Spanish.
The Microsoft Speech Engine is also included. Many other third-party synthesizers
are also supported.
outSPOKEN Ensemble 3.0 recognizes frames and improves performance
during hyperlink navigation when using tab and shift-tab. outSPOKEN supports
