Day Two:
1. What About Those Students Who Are Challenging? Case Studies In Vision - ideas
and resources for instructional strategies and implementation of appropriate
intervention for those students with additional disabilities
2. Small Group Ideas - each small group will take a different case study and
share possible intervention strategies with others
3. Developmentally Appropriate Practices - looking at the impact of visual impairment
on various development domains (including sensory, cognitive, and motor) and
including assessment during early childhood and those with multiple disabilities
4. Developmentally Appropriate Practices Applied - instructional strategies
used to build skills with infants, toddlers, and those with multiple disabilities...
including case studies
5. Cortical Visual Impairment; What Do I Do? - an overview of cortical visual
impairment, how it is unique from other visual impairments, and what we can
do to assist our students who have it
